MUSEUM  BATIK AND EMBROIDERY, an Acceptance MinorityEven batik declared as an Indonesia natural heritage by United Nations, the batik's museum closely away by Indonesians.

Dewi Nugroho is a part of Batik and Embriodery Museum generations. Her forfathers was the creator of the museum. The museum declared on May, 12 1979 in Yogyakarta. It splited into three different rooms. First is the guest room. Second room presented batik display area such as Pekalongan's Batik collections, Palace Batik and tools for making batik such as canting, wok and the hot wax. Canting purposed as a pen for batik drawing process. It filled by hot wax. Third is the embroidery display area. The hundreds embroideries collection of national character, like Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX and Ir. Soekarno, the Indonesian first president displayed ordinary. The Batik Museum collected 500 sheets of batik tulis-batik which made manually, 560 sheets of printing batik and the ancient batik made in 1880 to 1890 called''Sarung Isen-Isen Anti'' by Dutch lady named E.V Zeuylen.

The manager captured a good moment for showing Indonesia heritage. They made a batik workshop which arranged for anyone interested for learning batik's philosophy and batik's making process. Mostly, Indonesian and foreign student joined to the workshop scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  They came occasionally for holiday season. In daily, the museum relatively quiet by the people.

Museum be able to show about the heritage closely perfect. The access made everyone easier to come. The information presented the batik's details contained messages to everyone about richness and creativeness of Indonesian. The problems came straightly when museum saw as the serious and scientific object.
 
Dewi's family tried to save the culture. They invited anyone to come and enjoyed their collections. They kept batiks as their appreciated for the ancient. Now, Dewi relatively away from the museum because of the health problems. She assigned her son, Haryanto, for continuing hopes of the greatly acceptance heritage minority called Batik.
