With the exotic location, Elo river offers challenging and beautiful panorama while your  adrenalin rushin fast in a rafting action along the river. Surely, there's no thing better than this, for you to get a sensational feeling in this river.

The level of Elo River rafting is II - III rapids are safe enough for beginners. With stream switft water and big rocks within the river, it will take 2.5 hours to finish this 12.5 km river's journey.  Fair enough for gut's testing even to people  who's never been  in river rafting.

Close to Borobudur Temple and Mendut Temple in Magelang district , its where the Elo River situated in. Also known as Progo river's creek  --tipped on the western slopes of Mount Merbabu-- , Elo river itself  have better clear water than Progo river. Elo river not just offers a challenging journey, it also serves you with beautiful - natural scenery,  grove of trees  and  chirping  birds along this river rafting action.

Elo river rafting start from Blondo bridge , finish in Mendut  or rendevouz point between Elo and Progo. After half a journey, participants will take a short break and having their snack accompanying with fresh coconut water which will give them more energy to get back in to the action. Not just rafting, natural scenery and conditions around Elo river  also suits for people who are have  different interest such as outbond or hiking.

To get there to Elo River's location it's preety easy either with private vehicle or public transport, located in the roadside of Yogyakarta - Magelang road, it takes  only 40 minutes from Jogja if you catch a public bus from Jombor terminal and then get off in the Blondo bridge, Magelang.  A normal time of 2.5 hours, if you catch the bus from other city like Semarang. By the time you get there, there'll be a lot of choice of rafting operators. Pick one not just by lookin at their gears, but don't be shy to ask if they offer a great legal insurance. For this journey it'll cost Rp.125.000/person all in include rafting equipment, snack, lunch and insurance.

After  2.5 hours of challenging and joyful  rafting journey along the Elo River , participants still got their chances to visit one of the famous wonder world ; Borobudur temple and also Mendut Temple. Easyly reach, because its location not far from the river.
