EDU Hostel Yogyakarta was opened by Sri Paduka Pakualam IX on Friday, May 25, 2012. EDU Hostel offers dormitory and private accommodation that designed and built to individuals, groups, and study tours, said Andre Suryana Yahya, The EDU Hostel Manager.

EDU Hostel located at the central part of Yogyakarta, near the famous Malioboro Street, the shopping strip of Yogyakarta; precisely at Jl. Letjend Suprapto No. 17, Ngampilan. EDU is short for EDUcation, where hopefully by the end of your stay here, you would have learned something new. Yogyakarta is a city known for tourism, culture, and education, so it's the right place for your family that's wanted to enjoy the vacation at Yogyakarta.
 
Many facilities was offered EDU Hostel Yogyakarta, namely simple breakfast, linens & towels are include, air conditioner, hot & cold en-suite showers, spring latex bed, private lockers with power sockets (6-bed dorm), 32' LCD TV with international channels (4-bed private dorm), free Wi-Fi & computer access in the lobby area, dipping pool at rooftop. This hostel offers totally 324 beds for the guest. You have to pay IDR 70.000 Nett. /Bed /Night (only one person bed) and IDR 400.000 /Dorm /Night (maximum 4 people).

EDU Hostel uses the modern minimalist and Javanese concept for rooms, there are names of region around of Yogyakarta (Godean, Wonosari, etc), and special names of Javanese (Rahayu, Asmuni). EDU Hostel has the basement for free parking, a safety parking space for your cars and motorcycles. You can see the beautiful scenery, the Mount Merapi at the north side, sunrises, sunsets, and the suite of mountain range made the round of EDU Hostel.
