WHAT ?
Merapi Sunrise Trekking is a soft trekking adventure that allows you to witness the spectacular sunrise at Mount Merapi. This journey is a scenic hike and walk, not a climb to the summit, offering a 4 to 5-hour round-trip through lush rainforests, valleys, gorges, and rivers, all leading to the slopes of the majestic volcano. Along the way, you'll pass through tropical forests and picturesque villages nestled at the foot of Merapi, some of which were devastated by the volcanic pyroclastic flows. The trek concludes around 8 to 9 AM, where you’ll enjoy a delicious brunch to cap off the experience.

You will see the sunrise at Pronojiwo Hill, approximately 1200 Meters from the Sea Level.
